I was out taking photos the other day, and just before packing it in I passed a parking lot with this eye-catching sign drilled to a concrete wall. All the decals and letters were peeling off. I think it once said something about authorized vehicles and towing charges. All the peeling and contrast between the white background, red paint and black lettering made for some fun shooting. I must have spent twenty minutes looking at the sign from different angles and taking a whole bunch of shots. I was inspired by a powerful photo that my cousin, Brittany, took of a fedex drop box. Anyway, people passing by were giving me weird looks... I just smiled.

Byron, let's peg it as minimalist abstraction. If you figure out what that means, please let me know.
