What an absolutely beautiful scene and accompanying reflection.

it's so beautiful than it's hard to imagine that a place like this really exists.

Thanks everyone. I took this at dusk a few days ago. I had some time to kill before meeting with someone so I grabbed my tripod and decided I'd stop at the first place that looked interesting. I saw an ambulance parked in the back corner of a parking lot near a park by the river and decided to pull in. Before I got out of the car, the ambulance pulled away, but I ended up in this very ominous park; huge, old trees, a muddy river bank, dead grass and reeds, a couple of ducks quacking along the bank.
I was really surprised by the purple undertones that came through, what I saw with my eyes was really dark and blue.
Steve, good call on the Big Fish comparison, I hadn't noticed that and now I'm thinking of that final scene where he lays his father in the lake. Gotta watch that one again.

This scene looks so calm and serene. Somewhere you can go to clear your thoughts. Is this the Rideau river?
